A Russian citizen has been removed from Vietnam after a court found her guilty of disrupting public order by performing hazardous motorcycle tricks on roadways in Khánh Hòa Province, a coastal region in the country's central area.

Provincial authorities confirmed on Monday that Nikitina Iuliia, 34, was expelled from the country last week following coordination between local law enforcement and immigration officials.

Court documents from the People's Court of Region 2 – Khánh Hòa reveal that between January and June 2025, Nikitina committed numerous traffic violations across public roads in Cam Lâm and Southern Cam Ranh communes.

The violations included operating a Yamaha R15 motorcycle while kneeling on the seat and failing to use required safety gear during her rides. She filmed these activities, edited the footage, and uploaded the content to social media where the videos garnered significant attention and widespread sharing among viewers.

The court determined that these actions created public alarm and undermined community order, leading to a conviction under Article 318, Clause 1 of Vietnam's Criminal Code for disturbing public order.

Her sentence included a fine of 30 million Vietnamese đồng—equivalent to approximately $1,150—along with mandatory deportation.

Immigration enforcement officers at Cam Ranh International Airport carried out the removal order on September 15, working alongside the Criminal Judgment Enforcement Agency of Khánh Hòa Provincial Police.

Officials emphasized that the case demonstrates how traffic violations, especially those filmed and distributed online, can escalate into broader public order offenses with serious legal ramifications.

Vietnamese authorities issued a reminder to foreign visitors that they must adhere to local laws, respect road safety requirements, and contribute to maintaining community order during their stay in the country.
